Integrity Group, Others Gear Up For Historic One Million Man Match, Symposium To Celebrate Governor Oborevwori’s Two Years In Office

The Integrity Group of Delta State (The MORE Agenda and You Matter Charity Foundation Ambassadors) in collaboration with Organized Labour (NLC, TUC, NUP), Delta State Ministry of Youth Development, and Bureau of Special Duties, is inviting the public to a landmark event organized to celebrate the second year in office of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Elder (Dr) Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, Executive Governor of Delta State.

The event, tagged ONE MILLION MAN MATCH & SYMPOSIUM, will take place on Wednesday, 7th May, 2025.

The Million Match begins at 10:00AM from Interbau Roundabout, Asaba, and a Symposium follows at 12:00NOON at the Dome Event Center, Asaba.

This historic gathering is designed to unite Deltans in a powerful show of support for Governor Oborevwori’s dynamic leadership style under the M.O.R.E. Agenda: Meaningful Development, Opportunities for All, Realistic Reforms, and Enhanced Peace and Security.

It will also provide an opportunity to review the journey so far, appreciate achievements and engage in meaningful discuss on the way forward.

Governor Oborevwori’s administration has recorded remarkable achievements in infrastructure with the completion of key projects such as Maryam Babangida Way, the Koka Flyover and Interchange, and various urban and rural roads across the state.

Thousands of Delta youths have benefitted from empowerment and skills acquisition programs, while education has received a boost through renovation of schools and recruitment of qualified teachers. Healthcare service delivery has improved with upgraded facilities, and his commitment to peace and security has made Delta safer for all.

The event will feature a keynote address by Sir Reginald Bayoko, mni (Immediate Past Head of Service, Delta State), as well as contributions from respected voices across the state. It promises to be a moment of reflection, celebration, and the way forward
