Okpe-Born DELSU Lecturer, Emmanuel Mitaire Tarurhor, Holds Special Thanksgiving Service

It was an atmosphere of praise and joy when professors, family members, friends, colleagues and well-wishers gathered in thanksgiving service of Professor Emmanuel Mitaire Tarurhor on his recent elevation to the rank of a Professor.
The thanksgiving service which took place on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at the Redeemed Christian Church Of God (RCCG), Shalom Assembly Parish, Abraka attracted eminent personalities from all walks of life, particularly the Vice Chancellor of Delta State University, Abraka. Professor Samuel Ogheneovo Asagba, Directors of Directorates, Deans of Faculties, Heads of Departments, non teaching staff, clerics, Okpe staff in DELSU, among others.
Speaking at the event, the visibly elated Professor of Business Administration re-echoed the significance of thanksgiving and thanked God for seeing him through the academic rigours which catapulted him to the apex of his chosen career.
According to Professor Tarurhor, his present academic feat and exploits would not have been attained without God and the full support of his lovely wife and children.
He disclosed that his first employment at Casa De Pedro Hotel was from the Asagbas and today his first appointment as Director of the Directorate of Intensive and Part-Time Programmes, was also from the Asagbas.
He thanked the Vice Chancellor for coming to celebrate with him despite his busy schedules
The cleric, who took his readings from 1 Thessalonians 5:18 urged Christians to always thank God and sing praises to Him in all circumstances because. He is always aware of what we are going through.
The Director of the Directorate of Intensive and Part-Time Programmes also applauded all those who graced the occasion, and thanked them for coming to celebrate with him despite their busy schedules.
