Ika South: PDP Members Notify INEC, Security Agencies Of Forthcoming Meeting Saturday

Members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State have officially informed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of their forthcoming LGA meeting, scheduled to hold on Saturday, May 3, 2025.
In a letter, the party also copied the Area Command, Agbor, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Agbor, and the Director of the Department of State Services (DSS), Agbor, in a move to ensure transparency and security for the gathering.

The meeting is slated to begin at 7:30 a.m. at 188 Mariere Street, Agbor.
Speaking on the development, Hon. Kenneth Ikehni Ojemudia commended party members for their unwavering commitment and resilience in reviving PDP activities at the grassroots level.
He encouraged them to embrace the party wholeheartedly and mobilize others to attend the meeting in large numbers.
“We are beginning a fresh chapter, and it starts with unity and action at the LGA level,” Hon. Ojemudien stated.
Adding: “I urge every committed member to reach out and ensure full participation this Saturday.”
Also lending his voice, Comr. Isioko Isioma, Chairman of Ika Children in Diaspora and a dedicated PDP member, appealed to party loyalists to remain strong and focused.
He expressed optimism that those who had previously left the party would soon return.
“PDP is still strong, still alive, and it remains the people’s party,” Isioko affirmed.
“Our unity and perseverance will restore the party to its rightful place,”he said.
The upcoming meeting is expected to mark a significant step in revitalizing PDP structures across Ika South, especially at the ward level, as preparations intensify ahead of future political engagements.
