Ughelli North LGA Supervisors Debunk False Rumours, Reaffirm Support For Council Chairman

The Supervisors of Ughelli North Local Government Area have strongly refuted false rumours circulating on social media platforms aimed at discrediting the Executive Chairman, Olorogun Barr. Jaro Movudu Egbo, KSC.
The supervisors described these
claims as baseless, malicious, and orchestrated by enemies of progress determined to derail the administration’s achievements.
In a unified statement, the supervisors dismissed recent allegations that the Chairman sacked one of them for inspecting an ongoing project.
They clarified that no supervisor
has been dismissed and that all five supervisors remain in office and are actively discharging their duties.
It was further noted that three of the five supervisors are currently undergoing a professional development training in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, an initiative facilitated by the council chairman to enhance capacity and governance efficiency.
The serving supervisors under the administration are Hon. Eric Osiobe – Supervisor for Works and Infrastructure; Hon. Egbinine Daniel Enomate –Supervisor for Education, Sports, and Community
Development; Hon. Lucky Oborayiruvbe Amejuma – Supervisor for Environment and Beautification; Hon. Efemena Ushere – Supervisor for Agriculture and Food Security and Hon. Edmond Akpotu Eyamu – Supervisor for Health.
The supervisors also condemned a publication by one Ochuko Aregbor, which falsely alleged that the Council Chairman awarded contracts totaling Four Billion Naira (₦4,000,000,000:00) to himself and his immediate family members.

The supervisors categorically denied this, affirming that as key members of the Ughelli North LGA Executive Council, no such contracts have never been awarded, and the report is a
fabrication intended to mislead the public.
They urged the people of Ughelli North to ignore such propaganda and unite in support of the chairman’s developmental agenda.
They said the administration, under the leadership of Olorogun Egbo, continues to make significant strides in
infrastructure, education, health, agriculture, and community development.
The supervisors concluded by calling on all Ughelli sons and daughters to refrain from divisive acts and support the chairman’s vision for a prosperous Ughelli North in alignment with the MORE Agenda of Delta State Governor, His Excellency, Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, and the Renewed Hope Agenda of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu
