“One thing l cannot forget easily is the flyover contract awarded to Julius Berger which is under construction at the PTI junction, something that has never happened in the history of Delta state. It goes a long way to show that when our governor talked about job quality and specifications, he was not just saying it bu he meant it.

“First and foremost, l want to on behalf of my family congratulate the governor on his 62nd birthday anniversary. I wish him all the best and l know that as he takes Delta to the promise land, God almighty will continue to protect, guide and give him direction to move Delta state to a greater height.

“Having congratulated him. I want to sincerely say Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori has performed creditably in the past two years of his administration if you following up the development across the 25 local government areas of the state.

“If you watch carefully, you will finds out that within the space of two years, there are several infrastructural development in all parts of the state and these are major achievements recoded in various communities with several road networks around the state that has reduced drastically the time we spend on our roads.

“For instance in the time past we spend over two hours from Asaba to Ughelli and so it was in almost all parts of the state, but now just one and hours, you are in Ughelli. So, we must commend this administration for standing firm to his promise. No wonder a lot of Deltans call him a promise keeper. Because what he says he do.

“We can still observed that developmental projects have also reached many coastal communities, like Ode-Itsekiri, where the Trans-Warri bridges and access roads to creek communities and also the governor has also revived work on the Ayakoromo Bridge in Burutu Local Government Area, which will help connect several coastal communities to the upland.

“Other key projects the governor has also executed includes the Beneku Bridge, Ishiagu-Ewulu Road and Bridge, Upper and Lower Erejuwa Roads in Warri, erosion control in Okpanam, Olomoro-Igbide Road, Otolokpo to Boji-Boji Owa, Akumazi-Owere-Olubor Road, and Obi-Ibabu Road, among others.

“The governor has not kept his eyes off the health sector, he has also installed medical equipment at Asaba Specialist Hospital, Warri Central Hospital, and Delta State University Teaching Hospital in Oghara, all these steps is to improve on the healthcare delivery and to discourage distance journey before one seeks medical help,

“We can also testify that he has done a lot in job creation, this administration from what we have seen and read has empowered over 250,000 Deltans through various programmes coordinated by inter-ministerial departments and agencies, including the D-CARES grant initiative. This is a confirmation that the governor is doing so well in all facets of live.

“We have also read in the newspapers the rising house rents in Asaba and other parts of the state, and the efforts government is making is to expand livable spaces through a housing scheme that includes the construction of 50 residential units in each local government area to accommodate Deltans across the state.”
