BREAKING: APC South South Stakeholders Endorse Oborevwori, Three Other Governors For 2nd Term

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s return to Dennis Osadebey House for a second term got a boost on Saturday, following the endorsement by the party’s South South Stakeholders.
Recall that APC South South held a stakeholders meeting on Saturday in Benin City, Edo State.
A communique read by the Vice Chairman, South South, Hon. Victor Gaidom, on behalf of delegates, said the four APC governors in the region have performed marvelously well and deserve a second term, saying they will fly the party’s flag in the 2027 elections.
Oborevwori who is on an official assignment with the president in Brazil was represented by his deputy, Monday Onyeme, during the event.

As it stands, Oborevwori alongside his counterparts, Bassey Otu of Cross River, Pastor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom and Senator Monday Okpebholo of Edo State have all been adopted as consensus candidates by the APC.
Meanwhile, President Tinubu was also endorsed as the sole presidential candidate for the 2027 elections by stakeholders in the region.
