2027: Delta ADC Stakeholders Unveil Party, Receive Members

Ahead of 2027 elections, Delta State Chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has been unveiled, just as new members were also received to the party from different political parties.

While unveiling the ADC by the National Chief Whip, Mr. Festus Igbinoba which took place at PTI conference centre in Effurun, Uvwie LGA, of Delta State, he commended the turn up of members of the party, saying that ADC has come to stay in state.

According to him, “we are here today to officially unveil Delta State Chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), ahead of the 2027 General Elections so as to rescue Nigeria from the shackles of economic challenges we are facing now.”

Continuing, “with ADC, Nigeria will be repositioned for a better future, because APC and PDP have failed Nigerians woefully.

Speaking further, the ADC National Chief Whip, however called on the members of the party including the newly received members to go home and propagate the gospel of ADC from their various units to units, wards to wards, and LGA to LGA for the growth of the party.

Addressing newsmen immediately after the unveiling meeting of the party which was described as a welcome development, the co-ordinator of ADC in Delta Central, Hon. (Arch), Julius Efeni Akpovoka, said, “we thank God for today’s meeting of the unveiling of ADC.

Adding: “l commend every member of different political parties who have come to identify with ADC, you are now an automatic member of ADC, you have to abide by the rules and regulations and respect the leadership of the party.”

Hon. Akpovoka, also hinted that, “ADC is the only opposition party in Delta and by the special grace of God, ADC will take over Delta State and the National level, because the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and the All Progressive Congress (APC), have disappointed us.”

“We will continue to remain committed to ensure that the dream of repositioning Nigeria for better future will be guaranteed,” Hon. Akpovoka stated.

High point of the ceremony was the successful receiving of members from different political parties to ADC.

Therefore, Hon. Morris Agofure, Chief (Mrs.), Bose Abaru, South South Youth leader of ADC, Bright Honda, the 2023 Delta Central senatorial candidate, Hon. Sylvester Avworo Marvel , Delta Central Secretary of ADC, Hon. Emadamerho Akpobome and others were also noticed during the meeting respectively.
