Abido Disassociates Self From WULC Of APC

The leader of All Progressive Congress (APC )Warri Urhobo, Professor ( Chief)Israel N Abido( JP) has disassociated himself from Warri Urhobo Leadership Council ( WULC ) of the APC.

Prof Abido made the denial while reacting to a news item on page 3 of the current edition of The Urhobo Voice where it was stated that he emerged as a vice chairman to Olorogun Bernard Okumagba in the said council.

He stressed that leaders and other stakeholders of APC Warri Urhobos adopted him as their leader in an enlarged meeting.

“My adoption as the APC Warri Urhobo leader was widely published with a photograph both in the print and electronic media.

“So it is mischievous for any person to author such a false and baseless publication without a photograph to substantiate his claim.l,” he added.

Professor Abido also complained that his professorship was not mentioned in his appellation in the said news item.

Professor Chief Israel N Abido therefore urged the national, state leadership of APC, the Urhobo Nation, Deltans and indeed Nigerians to discount the Urhobo Voice publication.
