Akpowowo Bags “Most Outstanding Legislator Of The Year” Award

The Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Olorogun) Arthur Akpowowo Esq, has been honoured with the prestigious “Most Outstanding Legislator of the Year” award at the 2025 Delta Icons of Goodwill Awards (DIGA).

The award ceremony, which took place on Saturday, 30th August, 2025, at the Tosenat 3 Arena in Sapele, recognized leaders who have made exceptional contributions to governance, public service, and community development.

Presenting the award, the organizers commended Akpowowo for his remarkable legislative performance, commitment to democratic values, and dedication to the welfare of his constituents and Deltans at large.

In his response, the Deputy Speaker expressed profound gratitude to the organizers for the recognition, dedicating the award to his constituents in Ethiope East State Constituency who elected him to represent them at the Delta State House of Assembly and the people of Delta State.

He reaffirmed his commitment to advancing quality legislation, good governance, and policies that will continue to impact lives positively.
