DTSG Resolves Dispute Between Ewulu Youths, Monarch

He said this while playing host to the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Community Newspapers, Mr Joseph Oromonokpaye and his team of regular publishers at his office in Asaba.

Uzor said the dispute which emanated from land agitation dispute last year, led to the loss of life, but with the intervention of his office, peace has prevailed.

Continuing, charged them to be objective in their reportage, adding that the governor had performed creditably well for Deltans.

Uzor assured them of synergy in the dissemination of his office activities.

As those who are aware of happenings in the grassroot, he urged them to effectively report the activities of the governor.

While outlining the acronyms of the governor’s agenda, he said it was geared towards advancing Delta.

He advised them as grassroot publishers to be objective in their reportage, as they were the closest to people in the rural area, hence the need to keep them informed with factual happenings.

On his part, Orhomonokpaye assured him of good publicity of the governor’s activities by the publishers.

He said as publishers residing amongst those in the rural community, they have been active in reporting news and disseminating information on the MORE agenda to those in the grass root.

According to him, the publishers’ consistent publication of the governor’s programmes had led to many accolades from the masses.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Community Newspapers commended Chief Uzor’s effort in conflict management in the state.

While congratulating Uzor on his appointment, he appealed for synergy with the office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Peace Building and Conflict Resolution.
