To Rep Waive: Leave Udu General Hospital, Development A Permanent Site For Your FMC
By Zik Gbemre
The sign post for Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Ovwian-Aladja located in Delta State General Hospital in Otor-Udu as take off point calls for concern.
An FMC without approved budget, medical infrastructure and location is a robbery on the Udu people, indeed Urhobo nation.
The manner it is playing out is an escalation of Rep Francis Waive’s advancement of his laughable role as unofficial praise singer of Gov Sheriff Oborevwori.
Since Waive, member representing Ughelli North, Ughelli South, Udu Federal Constituency received the greek gift of a Toyota Prado jeep from Oborevwori, he has become desperate to lick the boot of the governor with every opportunity, in deliberate ridicule of Omo-Agege, his political mentor who made him federal lawmaker.
Udu LGA, much like Ughelli South LGA has suffered much neglect under incumbent Oborevwori’s administration, including the rot at the General Hospital Otor-Udu. Rather than reviving it, relinquishing the hospital to federal government is tacitly compounding the underdevelopment of Udu under Oborevwori.
When will this disposition to misgovernment stop? The Federal Polytechnic, Orogun took off in a permanent site, with takeoff structures built to completion and commissioned to start fully.
Francis Waive’s FMC is only existing as a signed post in Otor-Udu General Hospital as starting point. You can see the desperation of Waive to return to the House of Representatives in 2027 at all cost with all sorts of dramas.
Francis Waive has turned a sycophant to Gov Sheriff Oborevwori all meant for 2027. Francis Waive has shamelessly named Gov Oborevwori a roadmaster whereas the Udu-Ughievwen NEPA road is in a deplorable state.
Francis Waive why are you blinded to due diligence with your ambition of returning to the House of Reps in 2027. Rep Waive why don’t you wait for Oborevwori to appoint you as his public relations adviser in 2027 since you don’t want to return to your church as clergy man.

Rev Francis Waive should be grateful to Ovie Omo-Agege who made it possible for him to be in House of reps for 2 tenures if not it wouldn’t have been possible for you to be a personnal aide to Gov Oborevwori that you are now as both House Reps member and campaign manager of Gov Oborevwori.
Shame on Waive, shame that the only Udu-Ughievwen-NEPA Road leading to Francis Waive’s constituency and home town, Obi-Ayagha of Ughievwen clan in Ughelli South LG is not motorable and he doesn’t see anything wrong other than praising Gov Oborevwori for nothing.
How will someone who calls himself a clergyman lost his senses to the extent of not seeing the bad state of the road to his hometown. Shameful and disgraceful.
