Excellent Ladies Association Of Ukwuani LGA Distribute Notebooks To Pupils In Public Primary Schools

The Excellent Ladies Association of Ukwuani Local Government Council, today, visited schools across the LGA to distribute notebooks to pupils in public primary schools.

While distributing the notebooks to the pupils and teachers, the President of the Association, Comr. Mrs. Lilian Ekezue, admonished the pupils to be serious with their studies, obey their parents and teachers, and to depend on God for guidance in fulfilling their destinies.

The President of the Excellent Ladies also encouraged the teachers to put their best effort into teaching and instructing the pupils, even as she emphasized the importance of maintaining a clean school environment for the safety of pupils and teachers.

They also urged the pupils to embrace best hygiene practices both as individuals and collectively as pupils while adding that cleanliness is next to godliness.

Among the schools visited were Ukwata Primary School, Umukwata; Ubeni Primary School, Eziokpor; Akashiede Primary School, Umuoshi; and Ekum Primary School, Umuekum.

In their remarks at the schools, the Excellent Ladies Association expressed their alignment with the Education Development Goals of the Executive Chairman of Ukwuani Local Government, Hon. (Barr.) C.S Possible Ajede, as captured in the “DO MORE AGENDA.”

Meanwhile, the headmasters and teachers of the various schools visited expressed their gratitude to the Excellent Ladies for embarking on what they described as a noble initiative and contribution to the education of the pupils.
