Professor Hilary Owamah To Deliver DELSU 115th Inaugural Lecture

Engr. Prof. Hilary Owamah will deliver the 115th in the Series of Inaugural Lectures of the Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka.

Owamah, the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic) of the institution is a Professor of Civil Engineering.

The Inaugural Lecture to hold on Thursday, 27th November, 2025 at the 750 Lecture Theatre A, Site III, is notably the first from both the Department of Civil Engineering and the Faculty of Engineering.

The don will speak on the title: ‘Harmony in Crises: Green Engineering Solutions for a Fragile World.’

The said event to be chaired by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Samuel Asagba, will kickoff at 11.00 am, but guests are expected to be seated by 10:30am.
