Ajede Sues For Peace Amongst Obiaruku Youths
The Executive Chairman of Ukwuani Local Government, Barr. C.S Possible Ajede, has appealed to Obiaruku youths to embrace peace and unity following the recently concluded Obiaruku Community Youth Election.
In an enlarged meeting held at the Chairman’s office today, which had in attendance the Onotu-Ukus, the Obiaruku Community Development Association (OCDA), Team Bogu, Team No Bouncing, and other key stakeholders, the Council Chairman urged all parties to put aside their differences for the sake of peace, unity, and progress in the Obiaruku clan.
The Ukwuani Council boss specifically appealed to Team Bogu to withdraw the case they filed in court as a result of their dissatisfaction with the election processes.
Barr. Ajede emphasized that “Obiaruku is one” and that there is no need for conflict or division. He encouraged everyone to accept the outcome of the election in good faith and to focus on peace and progress.

He further advised Team No Bouncing and their supporters to carry everyone along in the spirit of inclusiveness. The Chairman also directed the Onotu-Ukus, OCDA, and other stakeholders to engage both groups and work towards reconciliation and harmonization.
In response, Onotu-Uku High Chief Chiekem Daphey commended the Council Chairman for his wisdom, likening him to “King Solomon” for his understanding and leadership. Similarly, OCDA President, Snr. Comr. Chikadibie Uwabuofu, praised Barr. Ajede for his impartiality and commitment to peace, describing him as “a leader for all” whose efforts will not be forgotten by the Ukwuani people.
