Old Students Of CC 90s Celebrate 35 Years Of Friendship

It was a memorable and epoch making event as old students of the 90s of College of Commerce ( CC ) Warri in Warri South Local Government Area celebrated 35 years of friendship at the prestigious Blossom Place in the Itsekiri community of Ugbuwague – Warri at the weekend.
More than ninety percent of members of the association who graced the colorful events wore the famous government secondary school uniform of white on light green colour to reflect their old good school days .
Sonorous music of yesteryears ( old school) were dished out from a hired sophisticated music instrument to the delight of members and guests who danced accordingly to the rhythm of the songs that were dished out from the musical instrument.
Members and guests were also served with both local and foreign brewed drinks as well as delicious African and foreign dishes.
The sensational Warri based comedian, Baba Alegbe ( a member of the association)and other seasoned comedians featured at the event.

It was indeed a reunion and celebration of friendship among members and guests at colorful event.
The Chairman of the group, highly respected Comrade Ebisa Tuoyo has earlier in his opening address lauded members of the association for their dedication to the association and support for one another as well as the their support for College of Commerce ( CC), Warri and to the society in general.
He urged members for their continued support for one another, their alma mater and to the larger society.
Ebisa however strongly advised that as members reflect on their legacies, they should also reflect on their new challenges and new successes .
He also appreciated guests for joining members to celebrate their 35 years of friendship, service and excellence with them.
There were goodwill messages from members and guests at the historic event .
The Principal of College Of Commerce, Warri Mrs Queen Oyibo, who was ably represented by her Vice, Mrs Imoni Okiemute, appreciated and lauded the association for their contributions to College Of Commerce , Warri as she humbly appealed for their continued support.
However, a member of the Board of Trustees ( BOT ) of College Of Commerce Old Students Association ( COCOSA ), High Chief Isaac Ekuererome in his good will message strongly advised the authorities of College Of Commerce, Warri to improve on its relationship with COCOSA.
High point of the event was the cutting of the 35 years anniversary cake of the association by Patrick Imasuegbon, Ebisan Tuoyo, High Chief Isaac Ekuererome and James Ajuge.
An old student of the famous government secondary school, Pastor Augustine Ejakpomelue and Mrs Iyabo Omagbemi ( also a member of the association) who spoke to our correspondent thanked God for the huge success of the event.
