2026: Beneficiaries Hail Agofure, Oborevwori, Offer Prayers For Continued Success
Beneficiaries across Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State have showered praises on the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, and the Honourable Commissioner for Transport, Hon. Onoriode Agofure, for what they described as exemplary leadership and uncommon benevolence toward the people.
The commendation, they said, reflects the spirit of Governor Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda and aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Ahmed Tinubu’s administration. The beneficiaries, numbering over one hundred, expressed heartfelt appreciation to Hon. Agofure for his people-oriented approach since the inception of Oborevwori administration, noting that his interventions have positively impacted lives across Ughelli North.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, the Coordinator, Hon. Friday Onoriode Gbagbeke, said the season of Christmas and the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ provided a fitting moment to recognize and celebrate leaders who have shown compassion, generosity, and genuine commitment to the welfare of the people.
Hon. Gbagbeke described Honourable Commissioner for Transport as a rare breed of public servant whose benevolence and accessibility have strengthened confidence in governance. He noted that if elected officials and political appointees across the state embraced such a leadership style, governance would be more inclusive and development-driven.

He further called on political office holders to emulate the laudable gestures of Hon. Agofure, stressing that such acts foster unity, deepen public trust, and promote peace and progress at the grassroots reaffirming their political loyalty, Hon. Gbagbeke assured that the beneficiaries would continue to give their full support to the administration of Gov. Oborevwori, as Delta State advances toward 2027 general elections.
In their New Year message, the beneficiaries offered prayers for Governor Oborevwori and Hon. Onoriode Agofure, wishing them divine guidance, protection, and renewed strength in 2026. They prayed for abundant grace, wisdom, and greater accomplishments as the leaders continue to serve Delta State and its people with dedication and purpose.
