The killings, it was gathered started in the Ugbuwangue area of Warri. The cause of the fight was not immediately known. However, it was gathered that it was caused by the issue of having control of a female lover.
It was also gathered that four members of a rival street cult lost their lives in Market Road, James Street, Iyara Road and Hausa Quarters.
The ongoing rival street cult bloody battle has caused panic in the minds of residents of Odion Road and Iyara as they have imposed a dust to dawn curfew on themselves.
Efforts to confirm the ugly development from the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Delta State Police Headquarters, Asaba, Superintendent Of Police ( SP ) Bright Edafe were unsuccessful at the time of filing this report.
