Oborevwori’s Achievements Have Put His Distractors To Shame – Erute

A member of Peace Building and Conflict Resolution Council, Delta State, High Chief Abovi Hope Erute, has stated that the achievements of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori so far have put his distractors to shame.
Erute who is the President General of Uvwie General Improvement Union ( UGIU), stated this in a media interaction with our correspondent at his office along Petroleum Training Institute ( PTI) Road, Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area while reacting to Governor Oborevwori’s ground breaking ceremony of the Agbor/Uromi Flyover Bridge ceremony on Monday, 19th January, 2026.
Erute who is also the Isirerha of Etche R’ Alegbo (traditional administrative) in Uvwie Kingdom stated that Oborevwori’s distractors who asked questions as to his utilization of allocations from federal government allocations to Delta State and the internally generated revenue in Delta State should applaud Governor Oborevwori for his achievements in the infrastructural developments as could be seen in the building of the multi billion naira flyover bridge projects in Uvwie/ Warri South Local Government Area, Otovwodo Ughelli in Ughelli North Local Government Area, Agbor/ Uromi, construction/ rehabilitation of roads across the state, construction of drainages and gutters across the state, construction of bridge to Ode – Itsekiri, prompt payment of workers’ salaries, prompt payment of contractors, settlement of payments of pensioners, purchase of 65 state of de art vehicles for traditional rulers among others.

He also urged Governor Oborevwori’s dictators to note that in all these achievements, Governor Oborevwori did not borrow money and that he is rather paying debts of Delta State.
The white beaded Uvwie high chief further commended Governor Oborevwori for the relative peace and security in Delta State.
He therefore urged Deltans to sustain their support and prayers for Governor Oborevwori to enable him to continue to do more for them.
