Otefe-Oghara: SUG Presents Car Gift To Dean Of Students’ Affairs In Delta State Polytechnic

The Student Union Government (SUG) of Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara led by Comr. Julius Ukpeadlowa has presented a car gift to Dr. Samuel Enudi, Dean Student Affairs and Polytechnic Orator.

In an elaborate ceremony attended by the Rector, Professor Emmanuel Ufuophu-Biri, management staff, NADESSTU national President, Comr. Julius in his speech stated that the SUG considered it necessary to celebrate Dr. Samuel Endudi whose name has become synonymous with dedication, discipline, and unwavering commitment to students welfare. According to the SUG President, Dr. Samuel Enudi had for a period of fourteen years served the interest of students with exceptional distinction. In him, the students found not just an administrator but a father figure, a guide, and a stabilizing force.
“Through challenging moments and periods of growth alike, he has remained resolute, always accessible, fair, and committed to the peace and progress of the Students Body.

“Many of us here today can attest to his patience, wisdom, and ability to listen even in the midst of difficult circumstances. His office is not just an administrative space, it is a place of understanding, resolution and hope. The impact of Dr. Enudi’s service over the years has been felt across generation of students who passed through this institution. It is therefore only fitting that such a legacy be acknowledged in a manner that reflects its significance.

“The SUG after a careful thought and collective decision deemed it necessary to honor Dr. Samuel Enudi with the presentation of a vehicle, not merely as a gift, but a symbol. A symbol of appreciation, gratitude, and enduring bond between a dedicated administrator and the students he has faithfully served”.

While presenting the car key and document to the Rector for onward presentation to the beneficiary, the SUG leader reiterated that the car is presented to the person of Dr. Samuel Enudi . “The presentation of the car gift to Dr. Samuel Enudi is a modest attempt to say that your efforts have not gone unnoticed and your impact is not forgotten. This gesture will serve as a lasting reminder that service when rendered with sincerity and dedication will always be recognized and appreciated”.

Comrade Julius thanked the Rector, Professor Emmanuel Ufuophu-Biri for his exceptional leadership that has continued to inspire confidence and unity in the Polytechnic.

The Rector, Professor Biri while receiving the car from the SUG stated that it is relatively unheard of for the SUG to gift a car to the Dean of Student Affairs, stressing that the SUG must have sacrificed a lot to make the gesture possible. The Rector thanked the SUG for recognizing the dedication and unalloyed commitment of Dr. Samuel Enudi service to the Polytechnic by honoring him with a car.
