Akpowowo Felicitates Oborevwori At 63, Hails Developmental Strides In Delta
The Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Assembly candidate for Ethiope East State Constituency in the 2027 general elections, Rt. Hon. (Olorogun) Arthur Akpowowo, Esq., has felicitated the Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, on the occasion of his 63rd birthday.
In a goodwill message.signed by, Rex Omohwovo, Press Secretary, Office of the Deputy Speaker, Akpowowo praised the governor’s leadership style, describing him as a prudent financial manager who has consistently deployed state resources to deliver the dividends of democracy across all parts of Delta State.
He noted that Governor Oborevwori’s administration has demonstrated strong grassroots connection and responsiveness to the needs of the people, adding that key sectors of the state economy have witnessed significant improvements under his leadership.
According to him, notable achievements of the administration include the expansion of road infrastructure, construction of flyovers, and improvements in the education sector.
He also highlighted advancements in healthcare delivery, including the installation of MRI scan machines across the three senatorial districts and the renovation of primary healthcare centres statewide.
Akpowowo further commended the governor’s human empowerment initiatives, particularly non-refundable business grants, widows’ welfare programmes, and skill acquisition schemes, describing them as impactful and people-oriented.

The Deputy Speaker also lauded Governor Oborevwori’s leadership during the recently concluded APC primaries in Delta State, noting that the process was widely regarded as peaceful, free, and fair, reflecting the governor’s political maturity and inclusive leadership approach.
He prayed for continued good health, wisdom, and strength for the governor to sustain and deepen the implementation of the MORE Agenda for the benefit of Deltans.
