DELSU SUG Debunks Admission Rumours, Warns Public Against Fraudsters

The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has dismissed reports claiming that the institution has commenced admissions, describing the information as false and misleading.

In a statement issued by the Director of Information, Comrade Oluwabusayo Oloruntobi, the union clarified that DELSU has not officially announced the commencement of admissions.

The SUG urged prospective students, parents and members of the public to disregard the circulating information, stressing that there has been no official communication from the university regarding admission.

The union also cautioned members of the public against making payments or taking any action based on the false claim, warning that doing so could expose them to fraud.

It advised prospective applicants to verify all admission-related information through official university and SUG communication channels before acting on any report.

The union assured students and the public that it would promptly provide updates once the university officially announces the commencement of the admission process.
