Rights activist, Nigerian indigenous language advocate and Delta State African Democratic Congress (ADC) Youth Leader, Prince Ukuanovwe Godstime Oj, has saluted Delta youths for their resilience, courage and determination as Delta State marks its 35th anniversary.

Prince Ukuanovwe, in a goodwill message commemorating the 35th anniversary of the creation of Delta State, applauded the peaceful disposition, courage and resilience of young Deltans, describing them as a major force behind the stability and unity of the state over the years.

According to him, the peaceful nature and responsible disposition of Delta youths have contributed significantly to keeping the state together since its creation.

He noted that if Delta youths had consistently embraced violence, division and disruptive tendencies, the state could have experienced serious instability and faced challenges to its unity and development.
