2027: Obuseh Emerges SDP Guber Candidate In Delta

Hon. Obuseh Felix Ogechukwu has been chosen as the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Delta State for the 2027 general election.

Obuseh emerged at the party’s governorship primary election through a consensus arrangement, following the confidence reposed in him by the leadership and members of the party.

Addressing journalists in Asaba after his emergence, Obuseh thanked the SDP leadership, members and supporters for the confidence, encouragement and support extended to him.

He said his emergence should be seen as a victory for the entire party rather than an individual achievement, stressing his readiness to work with party members and stakeholders to strengthen the SDP ahead of the 2027 election.

Obuseh further pledged to operate an inclusive and open-door approach, assuring members that everyone would have a role to play in the affairs and progress of the party, irrespective of their position or status.

He therefore urged members to remain united, committed and cooperative, noting that a collective effort would be essential to building a strong and formidable SDP capable of securing victory in the 2027 governorship election in the state.
