Friday Diamond Reconciles With Political Leader, Otega Emerhor, After Prolonged Disagreement

Mr Friday Diamond, popularly known as Ogbo, of Unenurhie community in Evwreni Kingdom, has reconciled with his political leader and father figure, Olorogun Otega Emerhor, following a prolonged disagreement.

The reconciliation followed a visit by Diamond, accompanied by the former President-General of Unenurhie community, Mr Peter Maison (JP), Mr Desmond Duke, friends and political associates, to Emerhor on December 3, 2026.

During the visit, Diamond expressed regret over their past disagreements and appealed to Emerhor for forgiveness, reaffirming his respect for him as a father figure and political leader.

Responding, Emerhor said he had put the past behind him, noting that disagreements and misunderstandings were sometimes inevitable in human relationships.

He commended Diamond and his delegation for taking the initiative to seek reconciliation, describing it as the right approach to resolving differences.

Emerhor further stated that he had always regarded Diamond as his own son and had never intended to harbour grudges against him.

In appreciation, Diamond and members of his delegation thanked Emerhor for the warm reception and his willingness to embrace reconciliation after their prolonged disagreement.
