Oasis Magazine Spelling Bee Competition Grand Finale For Nov 30
The Publisher of Oasis Magazine, Daniel Dafe Umukoro, has disclosed that the grand finale of the 2017 edition of the annual ‘Spelling Bee’ competition organised by the medium is slated for November 30, 2017.
According to the publisher, a total of 16 schools who emerged successful at the preliminary stage will slug it out on the said day at Abraka Grammar School, Abraka, the venue for the grand finale of this year’s edition.
Continuing, Dafe opined that “the competition was aimed at stretching the brainpower of students to bring out the utmost best in them,” and that such activities were a part of their corporate social responsibility.
While commending Sir Dele Omenogor, CEO, Konum Farms, Amai, and a few others for heeding the call to sponsor the event, he called on other well meaning Deltans to answer the clarion call to partner with him to make this year’s programme a huge success.
He added: “Prizes would be won at the grand finale by the overall best three participating schools,” saying that the 2018 edition will involve schools in the 25 local government areas in Delta State.
