By John Onos
Late Chief William Ibori, the Unugbrogodo of Oghara Kingdom has been described as a man with a kind heart who has contributed to the development of Oghara Kingdom, Delta State and Nigeria in general through his leadership qualities.
According to the eldest son of the late icon, Hon. Kingsley Ibori, his father was a great man who lived all his life with his people by serving them all through his time, and he was very ready to sacrifice his last kobo for the development of the kingdom and his people.
He further noted that the death of his father came as a great shock to them, because he was never sick before his death, saying that this has brought so
much pain to them and the entire Oghara community, because so many things that he has been helping the community with is now left undone.
Some prominent Deltans who described the late icon as a bridge builder who will be greatly missed by all because of his leadership qualities and fatherly role includes Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Chief Hon. Engr. Emmanuel Ighomena, Special Adviser to Governor Okowa, Chief Hope Abijor, Hon. Jonathan Amitaye, Hon. Onome Ojo, PDP chairman Ethiope West local government Area, the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, Emmanuel Sideso, Joseph Otubu, CAN National Vice President, Hon. Joyce Overah, Commissioner for Local government Affairs, Delta State, Hon. Askia Ogeh, DESOPADEC Director for Finance and Administration and many others too numerous to mention.
