Death Threats: Nigeria Man Flees Country After Refusing Initiation Of His Kids Into Occultic Group
An Indigene of Aniocha North In Delta State, Nigeria, Collins Ogbechie, has fled overseas for safty after receiving death threats from an occultic group (name withheld ) for rejecting attempts to initiate his kids into the said group and not attending meetings.
According to a family source yesterday, 10th December, 2018 which marked two years after the burial of his late father, Mr. Ogbechie, said the deadly cult members some of whom are friends of the deceased visited the mother of Collins Ogbechie seeking to know her son’s whereabouts.
Meanwhile, Collins Ogbechie, a father of two is presently seeking refuge some where overseas after attempts by his late father’s friends, who are members of the deadly cult intimated him about plans to initiate his children after the burial of his father.
He continued: “Collins late father was buried on December 10, 2016. Three months later, his cult members called to inform Collins of their upcoming meeting to fix the date for his sons initiation, which he rejected because of his Christian faith. Since then, he has been receiving death threats from the said members in the society.
“His life and that of his family became unsafe In December of 2017, when he received threat calls and letters because he did not meet up with the deadline of November, 2017 given to him for the initiation.
He was even adopted by this group in February 2018 and was severely beaten where he agreed to their terms.
However, he fled the country with his family and has said he will not return to Nigeria due to insecurity.
