Delta, Best State To Host Next National Sports Festival- SWAN Elders

Elders of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), have given reasons why Delta State should host the next National Sports Festival.
Foster Chime (Enugu state), Loveday Albert (Bayelsa State) and Benjamin (Kanuna State) urged the Federal Ministry of Sports not to think twice before given Delta State the hosting right if they want the National Sports Festival, NSF to get back its vibes.
Benjamin, the Kaduna State SWAN Chairman said Delta state is the best prepared team in the ongoing 2018 Abuja National Sports festival as shown in the medal table.
Loveday Albert who was former SWAN Chairman of Bayelsa State said Delta State has the facilities, fund and manpower on ground to host it .
“Edo State did not actively participate in the zonal elimination and their facilities cannot be compared to that of Delta State”.
While veteran journalist, Foster Chime, former Enugu Rangers fc media officer said what he saw here in Abuja and how the Delta State Sports Commission lead by Tonobok Okowa motivatmo his contingents and athletes is enough to give it to Delta State.
“Other states should emulate Delta, especially on the issue of athletes walfare”.
Delta, Edo,Kano and Cross River states have officially submitted their interest to host the 2020 National Sports Festival.
