Elections: There Would Be No Problems If All Parties Abide To The Rules Of The Game, Says Anidi
–As Umukoro Praises INEC Over Peaceful Polls In Ethiope East LGA

The President of Urhobo Progress Union, UPU, Youth Wing, Comrade Louis Emuobonuvie Anidi, has said that there would be no problems if all parties abide by the rules of the game during elections.
Comr. Anidi who spoke to journalists at the weekend during the conduct of the Presidential/National Assembly elections alleged that some political parties were out to delay the process.
He said: “The election was peaceful and there was a massive turnout by the electorates. Since I become an adult, this is the first peaceful election that I have witnessed.”
In the same vein, the Secretary General of the umbrella body for the youths, Comrade Efemena Umukoro, commended INEC for the peaceful polls, adding that the materials came on time in his unit.
He added: “In Ethiope East Local Government Area, there were a few issues that came up, but the security operatives acted in record time and managed the situation.”
According to him the places that had some issues included Kokori, Ovu and Abraka.
“You cannot take away such incidence during elections,” he averred, adding that he was very satisfied with how the elections played out in the council area.
