Chief Oweh Commends INEC Over Peaceful Conduct Of Polls

The House of Representatives candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Ethiope Federal Constituency, Chief Kesito Oweh, in the just concluded elections, has described the polls as peaceful, as he commended the electoral umpire, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, for a job well done.

Responding to questions after voting at his unit while voting lasted, he however expressed dissatisfaction over the late arrivals of materials, saying that it came very late after three hours when accreditation and voting ought to have started.

“But beyond that, everything has been peaceful and things moving on well,” he added.

He urged the electorates to vote wisely, stressing that everything should remain peaceful and that they should see themselves as one big family irrespective of party affiliations.
