The disclosure which is coming on the heels of its tour of some of the jetties in Koko, is part of its commitment to fulfilling its social corporate responsibility to host communities.
The company’s representative, Mr. Philip Temile, who spoke on behalf of the team, said the need to renovate the dilapidated jettty became imperative since Koko creek serves as a take off point for transporting staff and machineries of the company to Jakpa community, location for the construction project.

Hon. Okorodudu, who was very pleased at the gesture, thanked the management of the company for identifying with the council, saying that the gesture was the first of its kind in the area.
He assured them of adequate security during the five day period slated for the renovation, and called on the operations officer of the 19 Battalion, Koko, Capt. Tali, who was present during the visit to deploy officers to mount sentinel during the said period.
