Widows, Prisoners Others To Smile Soon, As Delta Cleric Set To Alleviate Their Plights

A Minister of the gospel of Christ based in Sapele, Delta State, Pastor Ambrose Ogana Idowu, is set to put smiles on the faces of widows in all the churches in Jesse and evirons as well as the less privileged ones including prisoners in selected prisons in Delta State.
Pastor Ogana who is the Minister-in-Charge of the Living Faith Church, Elume in Sapele Local Government Area, said according to the covenant he entered with God, he has vowed that every year, during his birthday, he must give something out to the needy in the society.
The cleric maintained that the programme of this year’s ceremony is slated to hold at the First Baptist Church Jesse, where seven widows from each of the churches in Idjerhe Kingdom and environs are invited to come for their gift items. The programe which is tagged “Birthday Anniversary and Widows Hosting”, has its theme as “Covenant With God Deut 7: 12-15” while Rev. Jide Gabra the Chief Host and Evang. Solomon Okpigbe will Minister the word of God during the epoch making event.
Pastor Ogana revealed further: “Based on the covenant I had with God 7 to 8 years ago, in Matt 25 verse 35, which says, I was hungry, I was made naked, I was in the hospital you visited me, hence I decided to meet the needs of these persons at my birthday.”
He added, “l vowed that during my birthday every year, from on the 8th through 11th, I will go to the hospitals, to visit the sick, the orphanage, the prisons to share with them. Whatever little things that I have I will give to them including the widows which I yearly give wrappers and other gift items.”
