Abraka: Living Faith Church Dedicates New Ultra-modern Auditorium

The pastor and members of Living Faith Church a.k.a. Winners Chapel, Abraka, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, will today commence church activities in their new location, along the Agbor-Sapele Expressway, as their newly built church auditorium was dedicated yesterday, May 11, 2019.

The State Pastor, Olayinka Folorunsho, was present to carry out the dedication of the ultra-modern edifice that we learnt has a seating capacity of over 1, 000.

Delivering his sermon during the auspicious occasion, Pastor Folorunsho, spoke on the topic: ‘The Significance of Zion’, as he took his texts from Psalms 132:13-14 and Hebrews 12:22.

The new church auditorium

According to him, church dedications are necessary in order to acknowledge God as the builder and to consecrate such worship places to enable God’s presence dwell there.

The Resident Pastor, Solomon Olaife, during an exclusive chat with Oasis Magazine (OM), said that he was excited with the day’s programme because it attests to the fact that the church of God is moving forward.

He added: “I am privileged to be the one that completed and dedicated it; I am not the one that started it. This achievement could only be made possible by the help of God, especially when you consider the economy of the nation.

“While the building project lasted, we did not record any accident or casualty and we do not owe anybody at its completion.”

He called on members to “continue to hold fast to God and serve him more and more,” saying that this will move their lives forward.

He prayed for the land of Abraka, as he urged them to move closer to God.

This, he said will reduce the rate of crime in the area, stressing that things like yahoo yahoo will be on the decline because the things they are running after will be added to them by God if they truly seek Him.

The immediate former pastor of the church, Pastor Taiwo Oladimeji thanked God for the completion and dedication of the new church building.

He continued: “Today can be likened to a day of a mission accomplished for me. At the time I came to Abraka, the old church was not befitting for the status of this ministry and I felt we needed to relocate to a befitting site.

“There were several battles and we were confronted with challenges from within and without, but to God’s glory I was able to lay the foundation and I built it to lintel level before I was moved on transfer to my next location in Ibadan.”

Church members came in their large numbers to witness the occasion, as senior minsters of the church in the state also graced the event.
