Delta Central Ohanaeze Igbo Leaders Hold Executive Meeting In Abraka

Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Delta Central, has held its General Executive Meeting in Abraka, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, with members commending political leaders for their support and inclusion of the Igbo community in the state.

The meeting, held recently at the residence of Chief Nnamdi Uwalaka in Abraka, brought together members of the executive committee and Igbo leaders from various local government areas in Delta Central.

Uwalaka, who is the Vice President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Delta Central, also serves as Chairman, Non-Indigenes, Ethiope East Local Government Area, as well as President of Ohanaeze Igbo Community, Abraka and environs.

During the meeting, the group expressed appreciation to the Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Olorogun Barr. Arthur Akpowowo, for his support, describing him as In-law and a unique politician.

The group also commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for what it described as his inclusive approach towards the Igbo community in the state, particularly through the Director of Protocol, Hon. Sunday Onoriode.

The leaders further pledged their support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The meeting was attended by members of the executive committee as well as Igbo leaders from local government areas across Delta Central.
