My Consecration As Bishop Is A Call To More Service, Says VIFA Pastor, Akinfesola

The Resident Pastor of Victory International Family Assembly (The Root Church),  Sapele, Rev. Temtitope Akinfesola, has said that his consecration as a Bishop was a call to more service, adding that he will do even more as he resumes in Lekki, his new place of assignment.

Akinfesola said this during an exclusive chat with Oasis Magazine (OM) after the ceremony at the weekend in Sapele.

According to him, “the humility of Apostle Moses Grandeur, Archbishop of VIFA Worldwide, has kept him following him, adding that he (Apostle Moses) allows his sons free hands to operate.”

He added: “I feel so humbled and blessed and I am also challenged that truly there is reward in service. This has opened my eyes to some deeper things about life and ministry and I have learnt a lot of lessons today. I feel elated, encouraged and excited.”

Speaking further he said his journey in VIFA has been great, adding that “at the beginning it was rough because there were reservations to his decision to serve in VIFA.”

He said: “I studied Architecture and I was working and making some money even when I was in school. A lot of persons frowned at my decision to do ministry full time. It has taken resilience, a made up mind and my convictions to keep on. People did not believe at the beginning, but I think right now they are beginning to see that I saw well.”

The auspicious occasion was coordinated by the General Overseer, Apostle Grandeur accompanied by senior ministers in the mission, as clergies from and beyond Nigeria and jubilant church members were also in attendance.
