UPU Youthwing President Hails NANS Deputy Senate President On His Birthday

The President of Urhobo Progress Union (UPU), Youthwing, Worldwide, Activist Efemena Umukoro, has felicitated with the Deputy Senate President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), the umbrella body of all Nigerian students, Comrade Pedro Obi, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a dogged fighter.
In a signed congratulatory message, the Urhobo youth leader noted that Obi is one of the few students in the country that have fought for the rights of students and spoken up in times when needed to chart a cause for others of like minds.
He added: “On behalf of Urhobo youths worldwide, I, Comrade Efemena Umukoro sincerely wish to congratulate capacity NANS Deputy Senate President on his birthday.
“Overtime, Pedro is known to be a brand and a voice in the student movement of Nigeria and as the leader of Urhobo youths, I am proud and excited that he is a Deltan and a brother.”
Umukoro wished the student leader long life, prosperity and more fruitful years in office.
Furthermore, he prayed for Pedro’s elevation to greater heights, saying that the contributions of Pedro to the growth and development of Nigerian students cannot be overemphasized.
