COVID-19: Masari Relaxes Ban On Religious Gatherings In Katsina
Katsina Governor, Aminu Masari has ordered relaxation of the lockdown on the state for Friday Jumat and Sunday services.
The Nation recalled the total lockdown order, which was later restricted to three local Government areas of Katsina, Daura and Batagarawa, was part of measures aimed at controlling the spread of COVID-19 pandemic in the state.
A statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Mustapha Inuwa, also disclosed the relaxation of the lockdown was to enable residents restock their depleting quantity of food stuffs
The Governor also appealed to the various religious adherents to pray for God to heal the state and Country of Corona virus attacks
He urged religious leaders to guide their followers to strictly adhere to the various health guidelines earlier released to checkmate the spread of COVID-19.
