Delta PDP Slams Former DTHA Deputy Speaker, Osanebi With One Month Suspension
The State Working Committee of the Delta State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has suspended former deputy speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Friday Osanebi from the party for one month.
A statement by the party’s State Publicity Secretary, Dr. Ifeanyi M. Osuoza, said the suspension, which is for an initial period of one month, takes immediate effect.
The statement said the action became necessary as a result of reported acts and allegations against the lawmaker who represents Ndokwa East Constituency in the House which are potentially inimical to the peace and harmony of the party and tantamount to causing discord and disaffection among loyal party members.
According to the statement, the party said the matter will be referred to the State Disciplinary Committee that will be inaugurated by 12noon on Tuesday, 16th June, 2020 at the PDP State Secretariat, Asaba.
