Members Of SWAN In Delta Congratulate Adewuyi On Her Investiture As 56th ICAN President

The Delta State Chapter of the Society of Women Accountants of Nigeria (SWAN), has congratulated Dame (Mrs.) Onome Joy Adewuyi FCA on her investiture as the 56th President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
Adewuyi, a top-flight chartered accountant from Emevor in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State was elected President during ICAN’s Online Council meeting on the 26th of March, 2020.
Adewuyi’s investiture took place today during an online ceremony.
In a congratulatory message signed by the Chairperson of SWAN, Delta, Lucy Okena ACA, made available to this medium, the group described her as a professional par excellence, a role model and one compassionate and benevolent.”
The statement also read: “Your dedication, hardwork and confidence have taken you thus far. You have the passion and the ambition to stand out. You truly deserve every bit of the success you have achieved.”
“Whatever challenges and obstacles that may come, remain courageous and resolute and success will keep flowing in.
“We love you dearly and be assured of our warmest support,” the statement added.
Continuing, SWAN wished her a very fruitful tenure, urging her to take the noble institute to an enviable height.
Prior to her emergence, Adewuyi served as Vice President of ICAN and member of the Governing Council of the apex body for accounting professionals in the country since 2007.
