Okowa’s Achievements For Past Five Years In Delta Are Immeasurable– Mafiana

As the Governor of Delta State, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa celebrates his 5th anniversary into his administration in the State, His Executive Assistant on Political Matters, Dr. Emmanuel Mafiana says the achievements of Governor Okowa are immeasurable, adding that he has touched every part of Delta State with various development projects.

Dr. Mafiana made the declaration during the anniversary celebration on the 29th of May, 2020 while speaking to newsmen, noting that Dr. Okowa was known and tagged as road master due to the massive road infrastructure cutting across all parts of Delta State especially those riverine and uplands communities long neglected by previous administrations since inception of Delta State.

According to the Executive Assistant Political, some other too numerous giant strides include stabilizing the state through good governance, peace and creation of SMART agenda skill acquisition for youths, prudent management of the state resources and harmonious coexistence among the heterogenous tribes in the state.

Dr. Mafiana disclosed that Senator Okowa’s administration has given joy to Deltans, describing the Delta State Chief Executive as a kind hearted man whose good works made him emerge as the Chairman South South Governors Forum heading 6 States that make up the oil rich region.

The E.A who is also the Senatorial Supervisor (Delta North) of the Widows Welfare Scheme in the office of the Social Investment Programs (SIP), Delta State and the Team Leader of Intra Party Conflict Management in the office of the Senior Political Adviser to the Governor of Delta State, commended Okowa for taking good care of the widows paying stipends to them monthly among other welfare packages.

Dr. Mafiana enjoined Deltans to always support the state government in their policies and follow for more progress and successes as the administration continues with the development SMART AGENDA full of harvest of projects in all parts of Delta State.
