PDP Doles Out Cash To Members In Sapele

As part of its efforts to consolidate on grassroot politics and put smiles on the faces of its members, the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State, recently gave out cash gifts to some of its members at the grass root in various wards in the area.
The gesture, our correspondent gathered is to empower its members at the grassroot level and give them a sense of belonging.
Speaking at ward one in Sapele Local Government Area, the member representing Sapele State Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Chief Felix Anirah, flanked by other top PDP stakeholders, said that the empowerment is part of the party’s agenda of reaching out to its members and letting them know that they are loved by the party.
He added that their choice of choosing PDP as a party was not a mistake but rather a wise decision aimed at consolidating on the good plans and programs of the party.

Similarly, the Delta State PDP Chairman, Barr. Kingsley Esiso, represented by Hon. Benson Okorodudu, Senior Special Adviser to Governor Okowa on Peace Building, while addressing PDP faithful in Ward 2 in Sapele, asserted that the empowerment is to reassure its members that the party recognized and appreciates their total commitment and unalloyed support for the party.
It should be noted that over 150 PDP members at ward 1 and ward 2 in Sapele Local Government Area benefited from the phase one of its empowerment program.
Present at the brief ceremony include: PDP Chairman, Sapele local government, Hon. Umukoro P., Chairman Sapele Local Government Area, Hon. Eugene Inoaghan, among others.
