COVID-19: FG Receives Russia’s Controversial Vaccine

The Federal Government today received some samples of Russia’s controversial COVID-19 vaccine.
According to PUNCH, “Russia’s Ambassador to Nigeria, Alexey Shebarshin, delivered the samples to the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, during a visit to the ministry in Abuja.”

This was revealed in a statement by the Director of Information, Media, and Public Relations, Olujimi Oyetomi.
According to a report by the CNBC “Early results from trials of Russia’s potential coronavirus vaccine show no major negative side effects,’ a study published in the peer-reviewed medical journal The Lancet revealed Friday.
