Edo University To Resume Nov 16
Edo University Iyamho has announced November 16 as the resumption date for a new academic session.
The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Emmanuel Aluyor, in a statement on Monday said the school had concluded its 2019/2020 academic session virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Aluyor also announced that the post UTME screening of the school would hold on September 24.
The Vice-Chancellor noted that the completion of the 2019/2020 academic session online was in line with the University’s calendar which was hinged on the acquisition and utilisation of the Canvas-Learning Management System.

He said, “Edo University Iyamho is among the very few Universities in the world where academic activities did not shut down due to the Coronavirus pandemic and this is in the belief that the University is set up to finding solutions to new challenges.”
The Registrar of the University, Dr Isoken Ogboro, said the school was ready to resume but would not hesitate to continue its academic activities virtually if there is a spike in the COVID-19 cases.
