The newly appointed Head of Department (HOD) of Mass Communication, Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashiuku, Delta State, Dr Emmanuel Akpoveta, has said he will work assiduously to ensure he builds on the achievements of the immediate past head of department.
Dr Akpoveta, who made the remarks in a chat with newsmen in his office at Ogwashi-Uku, lauded the immediate past HOD, Dr Joy Ahon for her successful tenure, describing her as a brilliant academic.
While promising to work very hard with his team, the new HOD assured of leaving the department better than he met it, saying that his achievements would reflect on the students, department and the institution in general.
