Former Jigawa House Speaker Is Dead
A Former speaker of the Jigawa State House of Assembly has died after a brief illness.
Hon. Iliyasu Dundubu, who was speaker from 1999 to 2003, was popular for his ideology and firmness.
He is notably known for declaring a former governor, Saminu Turaki wanted after he was absent from the state for 2 months.

Dundubu, who has been sick for a while lost the battle at the Ahmadu Bello University teaching hospital on Wednesday in Zaria, Kaduna state. He is survived by wives and children.
Reacting to the development, the Jigawa state government has since extended condolences to the family of the deceased.
