BREAKING: Popular Sports Journalist, Tony Obaseki Is Dead
A popular sports journalist and former Media Officer of El-Kanemi Warriors, Prince Anthony Obaseki, is dead, Niger Delta Today has reported.
Obaseki reportedly died on Sunday morning at an undisclosed hospital in Udu, Delta State.
The late journalist had been down with stroke for some months before his passage.

Obaseki was fast recuperating when the Delta State chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Micheal Ikeogwu, led members of the union to recently visit him.
Managing Editor of NIGER DELTA TODAY (NDT) Online, Mr. Theophilus Onojeghen, was among the journalists in the NUJ visiting team.
Obaseki was in convivial mood during the visit.
He was said to have been discharged from a treatment home in Okwagbe in Ughelli South LGA of the state where he was being treated for stroke before his death.
The late Obaseki had during the visit of the Delta NUJ pleaded with the governors of Edo and Delta to come to his rescue.
The former assistant sports editor with National Daily Newspapers paternally hailed from the Obaseki family of Benin Kingdom in Edo and maternally Urhobo from Ovwian in Udu LGA of Delta.
Delta NUJ Council chairman, Ikeogwu, confirmed the sad development on Sunday morning.
