Gen. Azazi Foundation In Partnership With IBI Takes Christmas Celebration To Children Home At Igbogene, Prison, Others (See Photos)

Late General Owoyo Azazi foundation in partnership with IBI visited destiny home in Igbogene, Onopa Town Correction Centre and Cameron Camp at Opolo (IDP Camp) in Yenagoa Bayelsa State to present food and drinks to the less privilege as part of its ‘Feed a Thousand’ initiative that is taking place across the 36 states of the nation.
According to the team leader, Mr. Matthew Azazi said, he led the Foundation’s team members to celebrate Christmas with the less privileged and prisoners in the state.
The foundation also donated foods and drinks to the less privileged to enable them have a joyous Christmas celebration.
He further said, during the occasion, ”the season of joy, peace, and happiness. It is the special season set aside to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Though this was its original purpose, the celebration of Christmas has grown to become a symbolic time for living in peace and love.”
While noting that Christmas is essentially a reminder of why we should stick to the deepest parts of our humanity, they emphasized on the need to share and give to the less privileged, spend time with loved ones and have a positive outlook about life in general.
