Kingdom Growth: Ovie Of Idjerhe Holds Interactive Section With Builders Association

As part of efforts to contribute to the growth and development of Idjerhe Kingdom in Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State, the Ovie of Idjerhe Kingdom, HRM Udurhie 1, Monday Whiskey, today held an interactive section with the Idjerhe Builders Association at his palace in Jesse, the traditional administrative headquarters.
The Monarch in his address, said that his administration will welcome any laudable idea that will bring more development to the Idjerhe Kingdom.
He noted that the little faceoff between the builders and the land sellers in the kingdom should be a thing of the past even as he urged land sellers to stop indiscriminate sale of land without creating proper road for accessibility.
The Ovie added that to this end, a Building Compliance Committee comprising of various representatives from the Builders Association, the Ethiope West Council and a representative from the palace will be set up in no distant time to ensure that the right things are done.

He then urged all members of the association to be good ambassadors of the kingdom, practice professionalism and continue to do things by putting their architectural display in to use for the benefit of humanity and the growth of the association in Idjerhe Kingdom.
Speaking on behalf of the Idjerhe Builders Association, the Chairman, Engr. Uzor Ejenavi Precious, expressed satisfaction at the manner of the meeting with the Ovie of Idjerhe Kingdom.
Ejenavi said that all builders should follow laid down rules and regulations, live in unity and have a standard for the running of the day to day activities while dealing with members of the general public including land sellers.
The meeting was well attended by members of the Idjerhe Builders Association among whom were: Engr. Morison Obote, Secretary, Engr.Omogbor Dogi Philip, Treasurer, Engr. Akpoviroro Peter, Financial Secretary and other members of the association.
