BREAKING: Private School Teachers In Nigeria Register Union

Private school teachers in Nigeria have come under an umbrella body
to be called “Private School Tutors Union of Nigeria”.
A Certificate of Registration of Trade Unions bearing the name of the body was seen by Oasis Magazine (OM).

The certificate signed by the Registrar of Trade Union, Amos Falonipe and dated January 25, 2021, makes the body officially backed by the law and falls under the Trade Unions Act CAP T.14 of 2004.
Although we are yet to ascertain the brains behind the move, mixed reactions by private school owners have trailed the development.
