Urhobo Political Movement Congratulates Jaro Egbo Over Appointment As SA To NDDC Chief Executive

The National President of Urhobo Political Movement, UPM, Chief (Dr.) Ominimini Obiuwevbi, has congratulated a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Delta State, Olorogun Jaro Egbo, on his recent appointment as Special Adviser, Media and Publicity Affairs to the Chief Executive Officer/ Administrator of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Barr.Emmanuel Effiong Akwa.
The leader of the pan-Urhobo group also lauded the Hon. Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio for finding a prominent Urhobo son worthy of such appointment, adding that this is a very critical period of the commission’s history with the many internal challenges that necessitated the forensic audit of the commission.

Obiuwevbi called on all Urhobos and indeed all stakeholders in the Niger Delta region to close ranks and work with the Interim Administrator to restore the fortunes of the interventionist agency.
He added: “Barr Akwa is a thoroughly bred and first class Administrator who will deliver the forensic audit that will give rise to the constitution of the board of the commission by the President. It is therefore proper for all regional stakeholders to cooperate with the interim Administrator to deliver on his onerous mandate.”
